Learn the key architectural elements, design choices, and considerations to be factored into a new or existing Data Warehouse implementation project, with the goal of adding the most value for the business, and reducing the downstream maintenance costs of the Warehouse.

The discussions in this course are platform agnostic, and apply to any Warehouse Environment, either Cloud-hosted or On-premise, and the concepts can be applied to any stack that is used for implementation (i.e. Microsoft, Oracle, etc.).

This course is technical in nature, however all topics are kept at a high level. This course is meant to provide value for individuals involved in a Data Warehouse project, whose roles may be one or more of the following:

  • Information Security and Governance structures.

  • The various methods of data transmission from source systems to the warehouse, as well as their benefits and drawbacks.

Along the way, we will form a baseline for business requirements and a justification for warehouse components that can be used to document and detail your efforts.

  • Data Warehouse Architects
  • Analytical Program Management
