This is part 2 of two part course on Ripple blockchain development.
This part focuses on advance Ripple concept and ripple transaction types .
Ripple is a real-time gross settlement system (RTGS), currency exchange and remittance network created by Ripple Labs Inc.
The underlying Ripple Transaction Protocol (RTXP) or Ripple Protocol is build upon a distributed open source internet protocol and a consensus ledger.
The decentralized native digital asset powering the ledger is known as XRP.
The goal of Ripple is to make bank transactions more efficient and transparent, especially cross-border, inter-currency payments.
This part covers Multisigning concept and its use cases. In this part, Payment Multisigning and Trustline Multisigning concepts are explained in details with demos.
The hands on demos in this part include:
Payment Multisigning demo
Create 5 new test accounts
Use the API call to enable multisigning with signer accounts
Sign Payment transactions using signer’s secret key.
Combine signed transactions
Submit signed transaction
Confirm transaction
Trustline Multisigning demo:
Trustline is another type of Ripple transaction which establishes a trust line between two accounts using currencies like USD.
Create 5 new test accounts
Use the API call to enable multisigning with signer accounts
Sign Trustline transaction
Combine signed transactions
Submit signed transaction
Confirm transaction
