What you’ll learn

  • Students will come to understand how their credit score reflects their understanding of their personal finances.
  • Students will learn that all credit isn’t good credit.
  • Students will learn how to create good habits to build, improve, or maintain a solid personal foundation.
  • Students will learn how to identify spending habits and then make reasonable adjustments to maintain their personal budget.
  • Students will learn to buy smart to win budget battle, preparing them for the war of buying big-ticket items like a warrantied newer car, or newer/larger home.

In this course, you’ll learn how to understand where you are and calculate your Personal Net Worth. I then talk about limiting your overall credit exposure and maximizing your monthly credit card payments. I’ll then speak about why some credit isn’t good credit and the importance of obtaining a reachable first goal. You’ll then learn why never to close a revolving credit account and how to make a better purchase on a budget. The next step is to learn to create a savings rule to pay bills and save. All of these steps are meant to create good habits when it comes to needs or necessities vs. wants and desires. I’ll then explain why knowing what you’re buying is smart. I’ll then touch on how getting the best deal includes a warranty; however, you’ll also understand that fixing or replacing something has a cost or savings.

Most importantly, I’ll press the issue of how smaller purchases should prepare you for the big-ticket purchases. Hopefully, my methods to pay down your debt will create many good habits in your life. There are a few tips on how to lower your interest rates to improve your credit scores. I’ll explain why old debt offers options that are best understood when you know the rules in your state when old debtors call to collect time-barred debt. I then give details of how you can receive more value when you lower the cost of your borrowed money. Next, we talk about how to make more money with upward moves, hobbies, and or asking for a raise. I hope to encourage you to protect what you own and how to invest in yourself first. I then suggest learning the difference between preferred and secondary stock. Again, I conclude with some relationships of compounding interest and my thought on homeownership. Finally, I leave you with a message to keep it 100 and invite peace into your home, which might bring his friend joy. Disclaimer: In some states like Florida, my credentials do not meet your state’s requirements for teaching, instruction, or whatever. So, please don’t take this course without checking my credentials against your state’s requirements for teaching, coaching, or whatever. Thank you. Purmon
