In this course, you will learn the fundamentals of personal money management, or the science of budgeting. Managing your personal finances really comes down to effectively controlling your money, rather than letting it control you. Money management is not about which fund to invest in or a get-rich-quick scheme, but is primarily a science of managing your spending and making sure you have enough money so that you CAN invest how you choose later.
This course will help you transition from now to later thinking; that is, you will learn to let go of the trendy items you can live without in order to set yourself up for a better financial future.

I’ve broken down the science of budgeting into a simple three-step process: analyze your expenses, balance your budget and make life choices, and control your spending. Make no mistake, there will be some difficult decisions you will need to make in order to build and stick to your budget, but this course will walk you through the key steps you need to take in order to gain financial freedom.
As part of the course, you will be given the proprietary Budget Tool, developed specifically for this course. You will be trained on how to use it and walked through an example budget during the course. The Budget Tool is built with Google Sheets and is deliberately easy to use while giving you the most detailed tool possible.
