In this course, students will learn how the Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Sell Side Assistance Process is structured. The course is broken down into 3 parts:
Part 1: A general overview of the M&A Sell Side Assistance Process will be provided, as well as an overview of how a Teaser document should be structured. The course will focus on the preparation of the Teaser document, as well as on Excel analysis (graph and chart formatting).
Part 2: We will go through the Teaser/Investment Overview document of a Hotel business and we will highlight the main sections of the Teaser document, as well as the information we will need to obtain from the Client, in order to be able to prepare the Teaser document.
Part 3: Excel analysis which will focus on the formatting of graphs and charts. Students will learn how to create professionally looking graphs, such as those created by investment banks and other financial advisory firms. Graphs and charts are an essential and integral part of a Teaser document, information memorandum, and any other corporate presentation, the scope of which is to visually communicate information that will capture the attention of the reader (i.e. potential investor). So, the good formatting of such graphs and charts, is an essential skill to possess.
