I’d like to welcome you to this course on creating a decorative floral painting in acrylics. This course is designed for beginners, who are interested in painting flowers, want to learn new interesting techniques and create a wonderful artwork . Here I’d like to introduce you to one of the Russian decorative folk style, which is named Volkhov painting.
You don’t need to have any knowledge or experience for joining this course; you can easily follow this simple step-by-step demonstration of creating a complete composition in acrylics, featuring colorful flowers and various herbs. So if you like painting flowers, want to have a new creative hobby and express yourself, this course is perfect for you.
In the beginning of the course I will share some information about the materials you will need for acrylic painting and you will know how to choose the appropriate paper, brushes and paints. Then we will continue with the sketch and gradually pass through each step of drawing with detailed explanation. In the painting stage you’re going to learn more about basic brush handling techniques and the basics of flowers painting. We will paint one by one all the composition elements and create a complete colorful acrylic painting together. I also provide some PDF files with the sketch and an image of the final painting for you to refer to.
