Tempera Painting – Paint Flowers for Beginners

Hello friends!

Welcome to this course Paint Flowers for Beginners, where you’re going to create a complete composition, featuring colorful flowers and various herbs.

So if you like flowers and want to learn painting in tempera, you’ll find this course interesting. You don’t need to have any knowledge or experience for joining this course, it’s suitable for complete beginners.

In this course I’m using tempera paints, and I highly recommend them, however you also can use acrylics.

In the beginning of the course I will share some information about the materials and you will know how to choose the appropriate paper, brushes and paints.

Next, I will explain the basics of drawing the important elements of the composition and you’ll practice painting them separately. After this practice you’ll be better prepared for the stage of creating a composition.

In the third chapter I’ll explain how to draw the sketch in details and then you’ll start painting the composition. In the painting stage you will paint one by one all the composition elements. Here you’re going to know about basic brush handling techniques and the basics of painting flowers.  I also provide some PDF files with the sketch and an image of the final painting for you to refer to.
