This master class is meant to be worked on. In the last seconds it should be an eye-opening journey for you. Why do I capitalize “you”? As your coach, I will accompany you on your first big steps towards a successful life and the establishment of a profitable company in the film industry. I will always help you to break down inner boundaries, get the unexpected out of you and strengthen your personality through tests and questions. The film industry is a tough place – the German film industry, the supreme discipline: low budgets, a particularly challenging mentality, many blenders and an even more challenging media culture. Finding your place is hard, so hard that many give up and move on to other areas instead. In this master class, I will show you how this does not happen to you with your company and how you can even become a millionaire in the film industry. I would be very happy to meet you personally. But first I would like to introduce myself to you:

In 2009 I started my apprenticeship as a media clerk and studied hard. Because media and especially film were my secret passion. Nothing in the world made me happier than running with the camera and realizing concepts.

I was very talented and got where I wanted to go quickly – with a bit of luck of course. My first stop was at a company specializing in television productions. But that wasn’t for me. I left the company after only 3 months. This was followed by what is probably the most exciting station in my career: a film production company that both realized first-class advertising and supported short films.

I got on really well with the boss at the time. We were often in the office late and it felt like we were dreaming the same dream. He pushed me hard, took me to my limits, showed me where my strengths and weaknesses lay and how I could further develop my strengths. He gave me responsibility from day one. Responsibility for a team, responsibility for several hundred thousand euros – responsibility to grow yourself. My dream: to continue working for him – but unfortunately this dream did not come true.

Only afterwards did I understand: This boss was my first coach! His primary concern was not to use me as much as possible for any kind of auxiliary work, but rather to support and challenge me in a targeted manner. It was he too who gave me the first specialist literature on film and revealed to me: there is still a lot more to learn that goes far beyond specialist knowledge!

He said goodbye to me with these words: “I am very sorry that I cannot hire you, but there will come a time when you will feel it deep down: “I know more than my boss and now I am ready to be an entrepreneur to become”.

After 2 very instructive years, in which I not only grew in knowledge but also as a personality, I was released back into the private sector. At the time, I just didn’t understand that there was a fundamental difference between the self-employed and entrepreneurs. But I didn’t care at the time either, because I just wanted to make films and be free as soon as possible.

But in the end… I got successful with all the steps I mention in this Master Class!
