In this course the students will learn different Tango figures that we will make chained.
You will work on the technique, which will allow you to make smooth and neat movements.
We will explain how to achieve a good visual effect, how to make a clear mark and how to interpret it.
You will learn some details that will help you improve your balance and energy control. You will be able to do the chained figures, their start and their exit.
We will explain how and when to make embelleshments.
You will see separately the role of the one who leads and the role of the one who follows. You will see the pivot, ochos, giros, and steps in a straight and circular line.
We will talk about dissociation, how to improve it, where to get the energy from to be able to perform the movements so that they are effective and at the same time smooth.
You’ll see the complementary leads, how and when to use them and how to identify them in the follower role.
We will talk about the timing, how to synchronize the movements.
We will give little tips to help the connection with the partner.
You will see the importance of the visual effect achieved by making a figure that is repeated sequentially with linked movements.
We will shows you the effect achieved by changing the dynamics within the same chained figure. How to use it with the rhythms of tango, waltz and milonga.
