Jade Tiger School Kenjutsu Shortsword Foundation contains all the basic techniques to prepare you for the practice of kenjutsu or Japanese swordsmanship with the shortsword. Focusing on postures, attack and receiving methods, shortsword foundation will develop your weapon skills and train you in the ways of the samurai.
Designed for solo practice, this course can be done anywhere with a shoutou bokken (wooden training shortsword), shoutou shinai (bamboo training sword) or any short sword-like implement (ie. stick). Just follow along with the videos and practice the techniques 10000 times to start your weapon arts journey and begin your mastery of kenjutsu.
