In this course, I will teach you all the sounds of American English. This will be the foundation of your better and more natural pronunciation in English. After learning these concepts about phonetics, you’ll be able to keep improving and practicing on your own. You’ll notice a reduction in your accent as well.

What this course is going to be like?

I’ll share with you this PDF file with all the sounds of American English. This file has one topic for each sound, comparing them with other similar sounds. For example, there is a topic about the vowel sounds in the words B%itc#h and Beach  (/ɪ/ and /iː/). I’ll show you how to make those sounds, point out the differences between them, and show a couple of examples for you to practice. If you don’t know what the IPA is, don’t worry. I’ll teach the IPA, highlight some important details, show you the symbols, and teach you how to use the IPA effectively.
