The JLPT N5 is the first of the five levels of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT).
To pass the JLPT N5, you need to be comfortable reading hiragana, katakana, and about 100 kanji.
In addition, you should have a vocabulary bank of about 800 words.
The 3 sections you need to be prepared for are:
Language Knowledge（Vocabulary） 〈25min〉
Language Knowledge（Grammar and Reading) 〈50min〉
Listening 〈30min〉
