In this course, you will Investigate methods & techniques of Universal Design & how to design informatively without cogitative biases. You will learn how Universal Design affects your design thinking to use strategies creatively for writing your speech and establishing your graphic design parameters. You will Explore how to present to an inclusive audience and how to prepare for an audience with possible deficit thinking & implicit bias mindsets. You will think about how your audience will receive and interpret your message, considering the needs of your audience and the ethical parameters of your representation. You will explore how unconscious bias possibly influences the audiences’ implicit bias and deficit thinking towards your presentation, and how that influence effects your performance and presentation delivery. As you finalize your presentation, you will learn how to boost your confidence in presentation delivery by enhancing you personality on stage and how to facilitate a dynamic performance, leaving your audience wanting more.
This is a project-based learning course. Each section will provide you with phases for how to transform your ready-made project into a stunning and confident inclusive audience presentation.
