The most common problem of pole dancers is arms. We learn how to make grips and how to use arms functionally with pole, but not always we know how to use them in aesthetical way and furthemore to choreograph it in dance.
This lesson (or even course) is filled with theory about what you can do with your arms in dance (suits both – exotic pole dancers and strip plastic dancers, also pole trickers and pole art dancers). Get the basics about main possibilities of arms:
– tips (we can touch ourselves, air or pole/floor)
– floorwork (at the floor there are some rules of modern dance technique which will make the dance on the floor more clean)
– ballet basics (all the graceful, beautiful lines are from ballet)
– centers of movement (what do you start your movement with?)
– detalisation (our hands have lots of possibilities – to use them, we need to understand our limitations)
– and some secrets about choreographing
Suits all levels. It is more like theoretical lesson then practical (no choreography inside this lesson).
Duration – 55 min
