In this module you’ll learn how to use the Table tools tab for formatting, inserting and deleting fields in Datasheet view. Other topics show you how to use Datasheet view when accessing, viewing or changing your database. Recognize how to set your field validation rules for data fields in your database, and how to set filters based on textual conditions and how to set filters based on Numeric conditions. Table Design
In this module you’ll learn how to index a record in a table, and why you would index a record. Other topics discuss the various different properties you can set for your table fields, and some of the data types available in a Access database. You’ll learn how to identify what an Input Mask property is, why to use it, and how, and distinguish how field properties are different and the same for the various data types available.
Forms
In this module you’ll learn about the process of creating a form using the Form Wizard in Access. Other topics show you how to change the layout of your form using design view, and review the advantages and disadvantages of the different form layouts. You’ll learn about many of the things you can do with the design of a form such as how to open and use the form Property Sheet, for each field in the form, and how table records can be changed and or added using a form.
