What you’ll learn

  • All you need to know about headshots for the industry
  • What you must do for a good Demo reel
  • How to self-tape your audition monologues
  • Agents and Managers and how to get one

Hi, I’m Stephanie Barton-Farcas and I am an author (look my acting for the 21st century book up on Amazon, which helps you navigate acting in a digital world), and I am also a working actress for film, TV, stage and voiceover work. I also direct and produce and am a casting consultant for talent agents and for Disney/Nickelodeon. The post-covid entertainment world is a rapidly changing one, especially post pandemic, and I often get asked the same types of questions a lot. So I have made a series of 9 short videos to answer some of the basics, at least as the basics are right now going into the 2024-25 casting year.

These nine videos cover everything from headshots to resumes, to demo reels and the art of self-taping. they deal with how to work on audition scenes in order to book the job. There is a special section on agents and managers and what and who they are and more importantly what they look for. All of this is geared toward you entering the industry with things stacked in your favor, as opposed to spending a year and maybe some money doing things wrong and not even realizing it!

Who this course is for:

  • All levels needing to understand the basics of the industry
