Renowned Country Blues performer/instructor Tom Feldmann teaches the basics of fingerpicking Blues guitar.  Playing the Melody with an Alternating bass is the main foundation to fingerpicking guitar and this lesson series takes you step by step through this main component.

Building on this basic foundation, you will work through C.C. Rider which uses D, G, and A chords.  You will work through each chord section, focusing on how to play each melodic phrase found in these chord shapes.  We will discuss hand placement, pinky anchoring, palm muting, which fingers to use, etc.,

As you progress through the song there will be additions of hammer-ons and slide notes.  The techniques found in this series will apply to any vein of fingerpicking you wish to pursue. A must have series for anyone looking to get into the world of fingerpicking guitar.

Whether you dream of playing the songs of the legendary blues musicians like; Blind Blake, Rev. Gary Davis, Lightnin’ Hopkins, Robert Johnson, Mississippi John Hurt, or simply pick up a guitar and play a solo piece for family or friends then this course is for you.  Simple but effective instruction at a slow and steady pace.  Have fun and enjoy Beginner Fingerpicking Blues Guitar.
