Autumn season is so colourful and full of inspiration. We spend more time at home and painting can be a fun activity for a cozy weekend. Whether you’re just starting out or looking for a simple, fun project to sharpen your skills, you’re in the right place.
In this class, you’ll paint 4 watercolor objects in a beginner-friendly technique:
Red Mushroom
Brown Mushroom
Chestnut in a Shell
Green Pumpkin
This class will include 4 class projects with and a simple explanation of wet on wet tecnique for beginners. In every section of the course we will follow simple steps to create the class project:
Explore art materials.
Prepare a sketch.
Paint.
For this course, I used the following materials:
Watercolor Paper Aurora cold-pressed, 100% cellulose, 300 gsm/140 lbs
Synthetic Brush #8 by Escoda Perla, Kolinsky Brush #2 by Escoda Reserva
Masking Liquid by Schmincke
And watercolors that I describe in every section. I use a limited color palette and basic colors that you can find in most of watercolor sets (green, yellow, burnt sienna, payne’s Grey).
Whether you’re a total beginner or have some experience with watercolors, this class is designed to be engaging and accessible for everyone.
