“A Game and A Story for the Days to Come” is an interactive guide for all family members especially our children. It deals with the effects of crisis mainly Coronavirus outbreak, in a fun way taking into consideration the psychological safety and wellbeing standards for kids. This happens through giving a chance for all the family to develop a common understanding of what they have experienced and expressing their thoughts and feelings towards everything related to the crisis.
The guide’s activities are put according to an educational methodology based on the principles of social-cultural learning in accordance with the following four stages: motivation, exchange of ideas, relating to reality, and voluntary initiative (change)
The guide consists of nine sessions that includes stories, experiments and games for the parents and the children so they could enjoy their time together and learn at the same time.
In addition, this guide has a section for parents that contains instructions on how to deal with our children’s thoughts and feelings, not forgetting the expected questions our children might ask during this crisis we are living nowadays, with answers suggested.
