In this course, Dr. Davis will start where her Intermediate Biblical Hebrew course left off, increasing the amount of vocabulary, as well as covering the different types of Hebrew verbs.
Lesson 1 covers the Hebrew number system and the depth of meaning of each number beyond their literal meaning.
Lesson 2 introduces hollow verbs and how to recognize a verb root even when two letters appear in cases where the middle letter drops out.
Lesson 3 explains the command in Hebrew, both the unique word structure and the abrupt sound.
Lesson 4 teaches how to recognize the Hebrew infinitive.
Lesson 5 explores the Hebrew infinitive and the provocative meaning it carries in ongoing action.
Lesson 6 introduces the passive niphal verb form, where there is no direct object.
Lesson 7 explains the intensity of action in the pile verb form.
Lesson 8 continues with the emotion carried by the Hebrew hiphil verb form.
