    Bullying is an often repeated and habitual conduct. It is a subcategory of aggressive behaviour. This module will explain the ‘what’ and ‘why’ of bullying. It will examine the concept of bullying and outline the criteria for bullying behaviour. You will learn about the relevance and severity of bullying. Cyberbullying is a form of bullying and you will study its causes and related issues. You will also get useful information on the reasons why children exhibit bullying behaviour.

    Bullying ? Effects, Signs and Corrective Actions

    Bullying is linked to many negative outcomes associated with the physical and mental healths of the bullied, the bully and the one who witnesses bullying or the bystanders. This module will describe the short and long term effects of bullying. You will learn about the action steps for parents in situations where their child is either a bully or is being bullied. You will also get familiar with the responsibilities of teachers.

    Bullying ? Cases, Laws and Guidance

    This module will focus on some special cases of bullying caused due to ignorance, wrong beliefs or stereotyping among school children. You will be introduced to the Equality Act 2010 which defines the six types of discrimination that are unlawful. The Act also explains some forms of discrimination that are not prohibited. You will also learn about other regulations and recommendations for schools by Ofsted study, which will help in designing some school’s anti-bullying policy.
