Become an Assistant Organizer

This course guides you through the process of learning the skillset you need to work in the Home Organizing Industry as an Assistant Organizer.  If you love the idea of organizing for others but don’t know if you’ve got the right skill set.  Or, if you want to organize for others, but don’t want to start your own organizing business then being an Assistant Organizer may be just what you’re looking for.

Professional Organizing can be a fun and rewarding career.  It’s a great way to earn good money doing something you love while positively impacting the lives of others.

As a Professional Organizer, I created this course to give you the inside scoop on organizing as a source of income.  We’ll look at the practical things you need to know to get started as well as the more subtle soft skills required.   You’ll learn what it takes to become a valued member of a Pro Organizer’s team.

The greatest asset of this course is that it’s taught from a mindset perspective.  Your mindset, or your set of beliefs about yourself and the world, is the greatest predictor of your success – in this course and in life.  Because of that, we spend time developing those mindset skills as well. 

The course is divided into five Modules.

Module 1:  Mindset:  Your Key to Success where we look at the importance and power of mindset as the predictor of your success.

Module 2:  The Professional Organizing Industry is an overview of the industry and what it’s really like to be a Professional Organizer.

Module 3:  The Assistant Organizer Job Description gives you a picture of what a Pro Organizer is looking for in an Assistant, what skills you need, and how to hone them.

Module 4:  Getting Hired is all about marketing yourself and connecting with Pro Organizers

Module 5:  Mindset:  Starting Your Journey takes a practical look at mindset with tools and resources to help you develop a mindset that will get you the results you want.

At the end of each module are Action Steps.  These are designed to help you integrate in a practical way the information from the lesson.  Each set of Action Steps also contains a Mindset Check which is there to help you develop an awareness of how the lesson content is landing for you on a deeper level.

By the end of this course, you will gain a deeper knowledge of the Home Organizing Industry and the clarity to know if it’s right for you.  And, if it is, the practical steps you can take to get started organizing for others and working on a Pro Organizer’s team as an Assistant Organizer.
