CurtinX: The Science of Fitness
The Science of Fitness introduces learners to the scientific basis of improving human fitness. It examines aspects such as how fitness is assessed, monitored, optimised and maintained. With an overarching theme of fitness for everyone, this course provides specific details on fitness for children, remote communities, people with disability and older adults.
This course contains small, interactive learning tasks such as measuring heart rate and perceived exertion, as well as using wearable sensors/smart phones to monitor and motive fitness.
