Development of Language in Childhood
This linguistic psychology course provides teaching activities designed to develop children’s language and social skills and treat childhood speech disorders.
This course researches the definition of ?language? and the various theories of language development. We examine terminologies, such as the concept of ?phonology? and its relationship to language. The course will then explain various factors influencing children’s language development at an early age. In addition, we will explore the different language activities in preschool and at home that promote childhood language development.

Introduction to Language Development in Childhood
In this module, we will learn about the definition of language and its development in children. We will examine different theories of language development. In addition, we will explore the concept of phonology and its relationship to language development. We will discuss the impact of socioeconomic conditions on children’s language development.
Language Therapies and Disorders
In this module, we will learn about the different activities that promote children’s language development. Next, we will learn about the importance of bilingualism for young children. Then we will learn about language development disorders and their causes, as well as the benefits of play-based speech therapy.
