Digital parenting is a popular subject but it is difficult to make it in practical ways. This course is aimed to fill this gap.
Digital parenting is shaping the behavioral habits about all screen-related actions including social media, tv, movies, video games, etc. Thus, think of an aim for shaping behavior. You can plan to lessen your screen time. You may want to feel safe when your children use technology. You can plan to decrease the negative effect of gaming on your student’s academic success.
In digital parenting there are two sides, one side is the parent, another side is the child. This course is aimed to make parents learn the situation first in a detailed way including most of the psychological points of view. Then by using that knowledge and awareness, parents can start to make gentle movements to see changes in their child. You can think of the same scenario with teacher-student, and also self-self.
I claim that we can apply digital parenting to ourselves in addition to our children, and students. You can use the skills for yourself.
I am excited to see your comments, questions, and any contributions to my course about digital parenting.
See you in the class:)
Who this course is for:
