    In this module, you will learn about global digital literacy and the skills required to safely and effectively navigate the Internet. This will include creating digital content, solving technical and real-world problems and protecting yourself, your family and your devices. You will also be studying various forms of communication and collaboration.

    Information & Data Literacy

    In this module, you will take a deep dive into information literacy and data literacy, while also covering online sources. This includes search engine tips and tricks, the differences between primary & secondary sources and the various types of content licensing. Challenges like misinformation, disinformation & malinformation will be covered too.

    Digital Identity

    In this module, you will cover the importance of protecting your identity while online. This will include the various types of digital identity and what can be found in your digital footprint. You will also study how modern businesses have adapted to the digital world and how you can create your own company, from branding to revising your work.

    Communication & Collaboration

    In this module, you will learn about digital communication and collaboration. Discover the various tools that these skills can make use of, as well as the programs and strategies associated with both. You will also study the importance of collaboration through the various branding decisions that changemakers and organizations have made.

    Diploma in Global Digital Literacy – First Assessment

    Test your knowledge of the information that has been covered in the first half of this Global Digital LIteracy diploma course. You must score 80% or more to pass this assessment.; Module

    Digital Content Creation

    In this module, you will be introduced to the wide variety of media that you can use to create digital content. This includes audio, images, video and even websites. You will also study how to create content using generative artificial intelligence. Learn about the importance of planning and developing your own content as a changemaker.

    Problem Solving

    In this module, you will be introduced to problem solving for technical and real-world issues. You will learn about computational thinking and design thinking. You will discover how to identify problems and gather information to create and evaluate solutions using these skills.

    In this module, you will be introduced to digital safety and security. You will learn the four key components of safety & security and how to protect yourself, your digital devices, and even the environment.     Digital Technologies and Change

    In this module you will be introduced to connections between technology and social change. You will learn about the UN’s Global Sustainability Goals and how organizations and youth changemakers are fostering a better world. You will discover new and emerging technologies and how you can get involved.
