Core Units is a free course offered by Edraak in partnership with Queen Rania Teacher Academy is the third level of the specialization Education Technology: principles, strategies, & applications which focuses on how to effectively integrate technology into the teaching and learning cycle.
Understanding the theories and approaches behind the teaching strategies and techniques is an important part of implementing any strategy effectively. Therefore, to learn how to use technology in education, we must first learn the theories and principle behind the technological learning strategies and digital tool.
This course will explain how technology can be used to support teaching and learning in many different ways. Teachers will begin by exploring the frameworks and theories that can help them to consider and choose the best way to use technology in supporting learners. In addition, they will learn how to use a range of free productivity tools, along with some ways they can use to help them to manage their workload.
Teacher will understand how learning can be enhanced not just by consuming technology but by creating with it. Making and displaying presentations, films and recordings can support school students in deepening and sharing their learning and aid in the retention of knowledge.
