In this course the intention is to provide parents and teachers a visual teaching method to help a child to learn how to read basic english blend sounds. With these videos the parent or teacher can choose one of the 1 minute videos to practice and then watch that video as many times as needed in order to practice that specific letter sound blend. The hope is that young children will be able to get exposed to the letter sounds that they will see when they will be asked to read a book later on. This is a chance to practice the phonics aspect of reading in a direct way, with your help and support so that you are modeling the process of sounds out words so that your child or student can read independently.  You can pause the videos and even ask for a prediction of what they think the word will be.  Thanks for the cover Photo by Nong V on Unsplash for this course. Another benefit of these videos is that you can choose which letter blend that you want to focus on and move on when needed.  Also, you can do only one if you want and more if you would like.
