Hello everyone! If you are reading this, you are most likely looking for answers to two questions. How to prepare and pass the ISTQB Foundation level exam? And, How long will it take? Let’s quickly find the answers to these.
The exam shall comprise 40 multiple-choice questions. A score of at least 65% (26 points or more) is required to pass. The questions are divided between 6 chapters. 8 questions are related to the chapter one, 5 questions are related to the chapter two and so on.
Because of this I have simple and clear approach for preparation.
Read the chapter from the book. Solve tests related to that chapter. When all six chapters have been studied, practice on the exam samples. Very simple and clear approach. But, as far as I know, only in my course the questions are sorted by chapters. And there are more than about 100 questions for each chapter.

NOTE!!! One important thing before buying a course. You won’t find 100 videos in this course that last 10, 20, 40 hours in total, where I explain the theory. I find this approach to exam preparation ineffective. First, no one can explain the theory better than the authors of the exam. Since the book and syllabus are available, I don’t see the point in filming a video presentation where I read the book aloud. Second, it is a theory of software testing. There are many classifications, terms, definitions, tables, charts and 1000 facts. This theory needs to be studied, not listened to. I am deeply convinced that you should read the book on your own, then you will remember the theory much better.
