From an analysis of your current workspace to envisioning your perfect studio, from storage needs to smart furniture choices, you’ll be well on your way to the perfect studio.
Plan the Layout
You’ll learn how easy it is to create a professional layout so you won’t have any surprises. This session includes an in-depth look at electrical and lighting considerations that are important to sewers.
Finishes
Discover the impact color has on a space and why you shouldn’t ignore the ceiling. Explore a variety of flooring options and learn the advantages and disadvantages of each, and then learn why window treatments are important to consider.

Accessorizing is fun…and practical, too! Learn how accessories can do double-duty as storage and add personality to your special space. ZJ also shows your how to organize everything from needles and pins to thread and patterns like a pro. You’ll know right where everything is and save time and frustration.

Ready to put everything you’ve learned together? ZJ takes you on a photographic tour of her studio. You’ll see how she designed her professional longarm quilting studio from the ground up. You’ll also learn how to make a cutting table loaded with creative storage.
