Dear scholars Welcome to my course on ‘Research Concepts&Skills’. Research is a voyage of discovery. Research is a formal, scientific process. Scholars who pursue Research in their disciplines need to have thorough knowledge and comprehension of all the concepts involved in research of different disciplines in order to embark on the journey of creative discovery. The mastery of the concepts only leads to the necessary skills in doing your research in the most productive manner. With this view in mind, I have explained all the basic concepts in research -meaning, types, nature, merit, research ethics (section 2), Quantitative and Qualitative research methods, descriptive, experimental, historical research, Ethnography, Phenomenology, Symbolic reduction, Grounded theory of Qualitative research(section-3) and finally formulation of the research problem, hypothesis designing, review of related literature, variables in research problem and its types (section-4) and at the end dynamics of writing research thesis as the step by step procedure. In order to understand the basic facts and fix them in memory, I have given 3 tests with answers after each question. For all the videos, I have given a pdf. files for more grasp of the concepts and also I have given models for writing the thesis successfully.
