Overcome writer’s block and reignite your creativity with our defensive tactics course. Perfect for writers and non-writers alike. Get unstuck now!
What you’ll learn
- Confronting bad ideas
- Generating good ideas from terrible ideas
- How to write when there is nothing to write
- How not to feel helpless when intimidated by the prospect of writing
As a writer who has a story, you began writing it with enthusiasm (I hope) and somewhere along the way you lost your spark–that little ember within you waiting for some accelerant or fuel, but instead it’s simmering down almost as if someone tried to put it out–and now you’re full of doubt… Which is why you are here–is there something you are missing, something you should have said or done that would have prevented your arrival at this awful place: The Waiting Place
What is The Waiting Place? It’s a place where writer’s go to bake and stew–they mull over old storylines like they’re new–slowly going more rapidly insane, in vain, because the words aren’t clear and the story not yet typed. Very quickly it starts to look like this profession is well over-hyped.
And maybe for some it is–but that is not for us to decide. Welcome to Writer’s Block: Defensive tactics. Through a series of seminars, we will journey through many different kinds of “Creative writing processes” that can enable creativity to dig yourself out of the pit you think your story has fallen into. So grab a pen and paper, this is going to get wild.
The course description has a minimum word requirement which I exceeded but the flag still came up, so I am adding this silly sentence to please the repti–I mean algorithm.
Who this course is for:
- writer’s suffering the terrible ailment known as “writer’s block”
- writer’s not suffering but living unmeaningful lives alongside writer’s block
- people who do not consider themselves writers but are still suffering from “writer’s block” just the same
