YOU GLOW GIRL

‘You GLOW Girl’ is a fun empowerment journey for teen girls presented by Joni Combe from Girl Power Workshops. This online course helps girls shine with inner confidence, self-awareness and a positive mindset.

The course is designed to help girls aged 12 – 16 yrs…

• Learn strategies to manage friendship challenges with self-compassion and kindness

• Learn how to ‘flip’ negative thoughts

• Develop a healthy relationship with her body

• Learn how to stay safe online and interact appropriately

• Start to embrace challenges with excitement and a positive mindset

• Set goals for the future

How It Works

The course is comprised of 7 lessons and designed so that girls complete one lesson per day for 7 days. Alternatively the course can be completed in less or more time as it suits as it is all self-paced. Once enrolled, you will have access to all 7 lessons. Each lesson focuses on a different topic but builds on the previous lessons. The content is delivered by way of engaging videos and fun activities and worksheets. The lessons are short but powerful and designed to help girls develop true confidence from the inside out.

Course Overview

Lesson 1: Shine YOUR Way

This first lesson is all about identity and celebrating individuality. We discuss the importance of being true to ourselves and that we don’t need to change to feel accepted or ‘fit in’.

Lesson 2: What Lights You Up?

In this lessons we focus on passions, interests and strengths. Studies show that those who are aware of their strengths and engage in them regularly enjoy higher levels of happiness and well-being.

Lesson 3: Friendship Sparks

Friendship can be a great source of happiness but it’s not always smooth sailing! In this lesson, we provide helpful tools to manage friendship challenges with kindness and self-compassion.

Lesson 4: Flip and Ignite!

Every day, thousands of thoughts pop into our heads! In this lesson, we share a simple but powerful strategy to change negative thought patterns and ‘flip’ unhelpful thoughts.

Lesson 5: Glitter and Gloss

Many girls think they need to look a certain way to be popular or feel happy. We will help you develop a healthy relationship with your body and radiate beauty from the inside out.

Lesson 6: Shining Online

This is SUCH an important lesson and could save you a lot of angst in the future! We teach the importance of interacting appropriately online and cyber safety essentials.

Lesson 7: Be A Glow Getter!

In this final lesson, we set goals and prepare to embrace the challenges and exciting opportunities ahead. You will finish the course feeling strong, confident and ready to glow!
