What you’ll learn

  • how to write a logline for your screenplay
  • screenwriting
  • logline writing

Writing a compelling and eye catching LOGLINE to sell your screenplay is very important. You need people to want to read your screenplay, which is what a LOGLINE can do for you. My easy to digest video series breaks down in the simplest way possible how to craft a logline that gets your screenplay read. Logline’s are an essential tool for any screenwriter as it’s used to catch producers/whoever’s attention and want to read your screenplay.

This program is broken down into five short videos. First I have a little introduction for myself then a short history of loglines and how they started back in Hollywood many moons ago. Then I talk about what makes a great logline and how yours could be lacking. The next video goes into the actual crafting of your magnificent logline. That’s the real meat of this program: writing your logline. Next is a short video about what to do with your logline once it’s done and how to pitch it to potentials. The last video in the series goes over some online resources I think could be helpful to your screenwriting career. This course is short and sweet, just like your logline will be once you’re done.

Thanks for watching!
