Hello everyone, my name is Wassima and I’m a jewelry designer and jewelry design teacher.
In this course we will go through all the basics you will need to learn to be able to sketch rings for jewelry design and illustration.
Rings are probably the hardest object to draw for beginner jewelry designers because of the complexity of perspective. So in this class, I will teach you easy ways and techniques to sketch basic rings like : band rings, round and dome rings.
But before getting to draw jewelry, we will first learn some very simple but important exercices that will improve drastically your sketching skills, and will make the learning process of the techniques we will see in this class way more easier.
after the warm up exercices we will be learning how to draw each type of rings, and then we will get creative with different course projects where you will get to sketch in a spontaneous way different types of rings using the techniques learned in the course.
This course is beginner friendly and will go through all the notions in step by step and with clear and engaging instructions.
All you need for this course is a pencil and some paper and/or your favorite sketchbook.
