In a report titled, “Soft skill for a hard world“, the leading management consulting firm identified that Critical Thinking and Problem Solving is the No. 1 missing soft skill that are desired by business leaders.

Whichever organisation you go to, this competence is bound to appear in the list of expectations from employees. It goes by various names: Strategic Acumen, Strategic Thinking, Critical Thinking, or Acting Strategically. However, you cannot escape it if you are seeking career progression.

In today’s uncertain world, this capability is even much more in demand.

Over the past ten years, I have taught 2000+ managers from various leading corporates how to build their Strategic Thinking capability. It often begins with an understanding of what the term means. And new perspectives to thinking, questioning and deciding. Often, these programs have taken the shape of in-person workshops or blended learning programs, with at least 10-12 hours of engagement.

How to Think and Act Strategically is a one-hour crash course on the topic. To ensure that you gain a basic understanding and build an interest to learn more. I would have ideally wanted this to be a conversation but since that is not possible, I would encourage you to use messages or any other methods to engage with me on the content of this course. I would love to hear your thoughts on the various questions that I pose during the course.

Who this course is for:

  • Any professional wanting career advancement
  • Managers who have to deal with complex problems or decisions
  • Entrepreneurs who want to build a holistic perspective
  • College students who wish to prepare for a managerial career
