This course is designed to jumpstart your career in the performing arts through a series of thought experiments. These thought experiments are both useful and actionable for anyone looking to begin a career in the performing arts. Through the duration of this course, you will discover the most effective way to set goals. You will also break down your income into a manageable goal. Finding your “why” is also discussed, along with finding points of focus through one’s artistic identity.
Short videos explain the content in each section, and a worksheet is included for each video. This course is primarily designed for young opera singers, musical theater performers, and actors beginning their careers in the performing arts. However, the ideas can be applied to nearly any creative field including studio art, graphic design, writing, and more. This course is also great for people who have taken time off from their artistic career, and are looking to dive back in or restart.
