Maintaining a healthy workplace environment with heathy staff not only increases productivity for clients but also increases solidarity among your employees, increase resiliency at all levels and supports a positive work culture. Addressing workplace stress and exposure to high trauma environments has been supported by research in that 70-90 % of Physician visits are for stress related complaints and that employees in high stress environments have a 46% higher health care costs. It is imperative that an organizational structure include an evidence-based wellness program to proactively invest in supporting sustainable and positive culture.
