Fan of baking and illustration? And why not combine these two passions in a single activity? This is what the talented pastry chef and illustrator, Rachel Levesque, set out to do.

Winner of the Best Pastry Chef television competition in 2017, she decided to embark on the creation of illustrated pastries with her Happy Pastille workshop, thus attracting prestigious clients such as Chanel, Cabaïa, and Clarins.

Begin by meeting Rachel Levesque. She tells you about her passion for illustration, watercolour, patterns, and baking before introducing you to her influences.

Then you practice painting the design on paper before preparing the biscuit dough and royal icing. Then you choose your colour scheme and mix your food coloring.

Look for inspiration and use your watercolor bouquets to create the templates for your biscuits.

Then it’s time to get to work! Cut, bake, and glaze your biscuits. Then start to paint different flowers, from the largest to the smallest, as well as the foliage.
