Dive into your project by doing some research on streetwear and clothing styles to get your ideas flowing. After gathering inspiration in the form of a mood board, make a sketch of your outfit and select an avatar to model it.
Next, Stephy walks you through the process of designing digital garments in CLO 3D, from the bottom to the top. See how to create UV maps and simulate the clothing’s motion before exporting your files in the proper formats. Finish by adding textures and design elements to each piece in Substance Painter.
Import your avatar into Cinema 4D and build a 3D scene that elevates your outfit, from the background and lighting to the final render. Wrap up by color correcting in After Effects and creating a walk cycle to show off your digital garments.
