Excel is one of the most used business tools today. It is used everywhere from Fortune 500 companies to Mom-and-Pop shops across the globe. It is also a powerful tool used to manage personal and professional information far beyond financials and accounting.
This course is meant for beginners and intermediate users alike. During the course, we will cover the absolute basics like opening a worksheet, navigating the Ribbon, as well as what cells, rows, and columns are. However, we will also discuss using formulas, the Namebox, advanced cell references, and conditional formatting. Finally, the course will teach you how to handle data validation to simplify data entry and minimize errors while working with Excel.
We will also learn to handle the seven (7) most common and onerous errors generated while using Excel. Excel lets users know when they’ve done something wrong using a series of error messages. If you don’t know how to recognize and remedy them, it can be extremely frustrating. Throughout this course, we will show you how to read and fix common errors as well as how to troubleshoot new errors not discussed during the course. When you’re done with this course, you will experience fewer errors and, more importantly, when you do encounter one, you will know what to do about it.
This course is meant to provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to start using Microsoft Excel today. The best way to learn Excel is to use it.
