At Calais Senior Consult, we teach Motivational Interviewing, an evidence-based practice for cultivating conversations about change, and in this course, we take one massive concept from Motivational Interviewing to dive into the stages of change. In this 45 minute course you learn about the 4 stages of change that are used in Senior Housing, you learn how to identify each stage of change, what it typically sounds like in real life, and how to move conversations forward. No more getting stuck with prospects! And now if someone is “resistant” to change, you’ll know what to do! With practice opportunities throughout, you get a real chance to test your knowledge on the concepts and ensure you are picking up everything!
