Me too! There’s something about the interaction of light with the translucent liquid and with the natural honey colour that I find to be absolutely fascinating.
In this class, I’ll be taking you through my entire process of how I set up my canvas, sketch my reference, lay down the various layers of paint, introduce translucency and depth, and how I tie it all together into a final, finished painting.
This class is geared towards students of all levels, as I have strived to make the videos and explanations as simple to follow along as I could. I shall be showing every simple step when it comes to colour selection and placement so that it is clear enough for everyone.

CLASS PROJECT
For your project, please download the reference image attached and go ahead and follow along to the class. The original image can be found in the resources.
MATERIALS
The basic materials needed are:
An iPad (I used the Apple iPad 10.2-inch 128GB) that is compatible with the app Procreate.
A stylus. I used the Apple pencil 1st Generation, but there are less expensive styluses available on the market that work well with Procreate.
Procreate. I used Procreate 5x.
The Nikko Rull Brush, which is a default Procreate Brush under the Painting section.
The background music was produced by Lukrembo.
