Learn to Move your body to Salsa
Most people think about the steps when they want to learn a new dance. However, much of the feel of any dance, especially Salsa comes from the way you move your body.
But don’t worry, here at Intro To Salsa Dancing we will show you how to move your body to the beat first and then add the feet. It’s good to mention that You don’t need a partner to take this course.
Salsa bands typically have 10 to 15 pieces (musicians), who make the music very rich but difficult to dance to for beginners. In this course we play only the Conga for you so you can focus moving your body and feet to just one instrument first. Once you get familiar with the upper body movement and footwork, you can try the moves that we’ll show you with Salsa songs.
What you will learn:
Salsa body movements
Side to side and side cross steps
Salsa basic Step
Salsa suzie Q Step
Salsa left Turn
Salsa right Turn
As we said before, in this course we dance to one instrument ‘Conga’ to simplify the beat in Salsa. This course is taught On1.
Who is it for?
If you have never tried Salsa or if you tried it and just can’t seem to get the beat, this course is for you.
Have fun dancing!
