In an era dominated by images and in which anyone can improvise as a photographer, it seems impossible for some works to emerge more than others. Yet professionals like Luca Abbadati, architect and photographer, manage to plan and develop a photographic project so well that it is immediately recognizable and appreciated.

Luca has created this course specifically to reveal his work process, from conceptual planning to choosing the most suitable location, including the post-production and printing phase. At the end of the lessons, you will be proudly in possession of an interesting landscape photography book, ideal for making yourself known, participating in exhibitions or feeding your portfolio.

At the beginning of the course you will know the story of Luca Abbadati, architect and photographer specialized in what he calls “telling in the void”, or portraying the traces that people leave in places. After telling you about his sources of inspiration, he will introduce you to some of his most important projects.

In the second unit you will work on developing your photographic eye, practicing applying the rules of composition and choosing the right location.

Then the time will come to take up the camera and head to the place chosen for the shooting, not without first carefully planning your photographic tour. You’ll also learn how to determine the best moments to shoot, take advantage of the unexpected, and enjoy the process.

The fourth and last unit will be dedicated to post-production, in particular to the adjustment of brightness, color and framing. You will also discover how best to print and present your project.
