Consciousness and Behaviour
This module looks at different states of consciousness, in particular, it looks at the stages of sleep and existing sleep research. The biological basis of behaviour is also examined, through looking at the brains hemispheres and lobes. You will also learn about the importance of the spinal cord. This module will also walk you through the effects of stress on the body.

Visual Perceptions and Illusions
This module explores the visual side of psychology, in particular, it looks at perception and illusions. You will look at the characteristics of the visual sensory system, and examine the Gestalt principles of figure-ground, closure, similarity, and proximity. You will also look at the different factors which influence depth perception, and conditions which may affect sight in old age. Different visual illusions will also be discussed.
Memory
This module talks you through enhancing memory and memory retrieval. You will also learn about the different terms associated with memory, and the enhancing effects of rhyme on memory. You will be introduced to the different types of memory, in particular, sensory memory, short-term memory, and long-term memory. Theories on forgetting will also be discussed.
